MaggieMoose: Prickles & Twigs

Maggie’s pawsability thought for the day:

“I always prefer to believe the best of everybody, it saves so much trouble.”

In our children’s book MaggieMooseTracks® Making Friends we portray a fictionalized Maggie lost in the forest searching for her real family. In one of her adventures she comes across a mishap from Polly the porcupine who filled her face with painful porcupine quills. In real life, sometimes we get hurt by others words or actions without their intention to hurt us. Maggie and I know that humans make mistakes. Animals too. After all, if Maggie held a grudge against me for something she considered ‘not nice’ how could she enjoy her twig in peace? We like to believe the best in others. And like our fictionalized Maggie, we forgive, forget and move on. It saves us so much trouble just like Rudyard Kipling says.
