MaggieMoose: Heart of Gold

Maggie’s pawsability thought for the day:

“We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.”

Maggie and I saw the dog in the window. Not just any window, but the window of a very nice jewelry store called Erin Mac jewelry. This store sells beautifully custom designed pieces of jewelry. We noticed the dog in the window matched the color of the carpet. Maggie and I gazed at the dog. We think this dog has a heart of gold! His eyes showed their sparkle through his subtle gaze at us. Our hearts felt alive in those brief moments of gazing at the jewelry store dog-he or she was the real treasure in the window.

Thank you so much for loving on Koda – she is a rescue from Pets in need. She used to be scared of everything and now she “owns” the store! She is a love and does indeed have a heart of gold. She cares for the small animals in her world. She grooms them and snuggles them…
    Cheers Erin (the other owner)

Thanks so much for your reply! Koda radiates a special quality. She really does match the carpet and the jewelry business! Heart of gold! 🙂 🙂

I wonder where the name Koda comes from. Unusual. Lovely name. That’s a great picture of the dog, probably people watching. Or even dog and owner watching! It shows she’s very interested in the world around her.

We loved the look of Koda! She starred at Maggie and Maggie starred back. Secret communication between dogs through the looking glass. 🙂 🙂

I made up the name,, recently a client adopted a dog that turned out to be named Koda as well. she brought her in and the two dogs had a lovely visit, she looked up the name and found a native american tribe in which the word means “friend” – It was wonderful.
